Photographer's  Statement  

Many fine art outdoor photographers are engaged in a constant search for that perfect sunrise, sunset, animal pose, or landscape. In trying to capture these elusive images  we sometimes forget what is truly  important; enjoying the journey  of outdoor photography and sharing the experience.  

As I make this journey , I am reminded that we are all stewards of the earth, and that we have been entrusted with the responsibility to help maintain the balance of all life.

When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense
of accomplishment that comes from conveying
my thoughts through photographs and awakening
people's awareness of their  environment. 

When people view my work, I would like them to feel inspired by what they see in my photographs and to be filled with a longing to be a part of the surroundings  portrayed in the images.
